Take the Field in Our Winter Warriors/EPP Practice Match

An exciting opportunity for kids aged 7-11, 11-14 & 15-18 cricketers to gain valuable match experience in a proper game environment! These full-format practice matches are designed to help young players develop their skills, match awareness, and teamwork under senior playing conditions.

This series includes the highly anticipated Winter Warriors and EPP Practice Match — perfect for players looking to sharpen their game and put their training into action.

About the Matches

Real Game Experience: Players will compete in standard senior games, where the goal is to perform for the team and work towards winning the match.
Limited Retirements: Batsmen continue their innings & only retire for other batsmen NOT bowlers, giving them the chance to build longer innings.
Bowler’s Dream: Bowlers can bowl their full allotment of overs (maximum 8 overs in a 40-over match, 10 in a 50-over match), allowing them to showcase their skills.
Wicketkeeper Challenge: Keepers are required to keep for the full innings, just like in real games.

Match Schedule & Locations:

Match Dates: Games are played on the AFL Grand Final public holiday.

Location: Ages 7-11 – JC Donath Reserve

Ages 11-14 – Kyabram

Ages 14-17 – Katandra
